Wow, if you can accomplish that much by just skipping TV for a day, you are going to have a very productive week. BTW, what is special about this week?
Well, the intent is not for someone to do all of this. Some of these things could be done in a day, but some like 11) Read “The Creeds of Christendom” by Phillip Schaff, could not be done in one day. That is a 2 volume set of creeds and confessions from nearly 1800 years of church history. The 3 volumes total nearly 2100 pages, and while the some of the creeds are not in english, they are provided inthe original language with an English translation, even taking that into consideration, it is still a pretty heafty ammount of reading, and I do not believe it could be read in a day.
The purpose of this list, and the rest that follow this week and next week, is to give people something to do other than waste their time on the DNC and GOP conventions. They are not worth giving a second thought this cycle, so as a public service, I am helping the public with things they could do so they do not have to give the conventions even a passing thought. New lists will be posted every morning that the conventions are running.
Cool! I am all in favor of a post a day. Maybe you can find something objectionable on TV every day from here on out that would be really cool.
Oh there is always something objectional on TV, public television is always on. But I have that channel locked out, so it isn’t a problem. However, this week and next are especially vapid. Neither candidate is qualified, both candidates are nearly the worst picks for their party, although Huckabee would have been a worse pick than Mc Cain. The daily postings will probably end after the conventions, probably resume 3 or 4 days leading up to election day, and then back to normal.
Most of the postings I do talk a week or so to develop before I sit down to wrtie them, so daily posting is usually not very likely.
